Murin Association Incorporated (Murin) is a 100% Indigenous owned and managed not-for-profit organisation owned and operated by the people of the West Daly region. Murin provides a range of services to Wadeye community and the broader Daly region in the Northern Territory.
In recent years, Murin has embarked on a remarkable journey of growth and expansion, strategically enhancing its operations and capabilities to seize opportunities across the region. Recognising the need to better share information about its expertise and position itself in the competitive tender environment, Murin engaged Bowman Advisory to develop a comprehensive capability statement, showcasing Murin's diverse range of services and robust capabilities.

Mulyung Aboriginal Corporation
Mulyung Aboriginal Corporation located in Nganambala community (Emu Point) is a grass roots corporation who is passionate about building a strong future for their community.
Bowman Advisory is working together with Mulyung Aboriginal Corporation to build strong foundations and upskill Directors to ensure the Corporation has the tools it needs to make positive and sustainable change for the community and its people.
Bowman Advisory also supported the Corporation in the development of its strategic vision, mapping out their economic and business development goals and associated implementation steps, and how to leverage its recently signed Local Decision Making Agreement with the Northern Territory Government.

Wangurri Djerrkura Aboriginal Corporation
Wangurri Djerrkura Aboriginal Corporation is working towards creating a successful Yolŋu owned and operated tourism business, Buymarr Getaways. Its goal is to support the development of Buymarr homeland in East Arnhem to provide its residents with the opportunity to invest in and build a sustainable future.
Wangurri Djerrkura and Bowman Advisory worked collaboratively on a range of actions to support the Corporation to grow and take the next steps in its journey, including registering as a Corporation with the Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations (ORIC), undertaking business visioning and planning, progressing land tenure arrangements and undertaking infrastructure scoping and planning.
Recognising the extensive scope and dynamic requirements of this project, Bowman Advisory embraced flexibility in its approach to ensure our client received support and advice where it was most valuable and where it would translate into tangible outcomes.
Bowman Advisory continues to provide ongoing mentorship and support to Wangurri Djerrkura through the First Nations Tourism Mentoring Program.

Wagait Shire Council
Wagait Shire Council is the local government body responsible for the local government area of Wagait Shire.
Working with the Councillors and staff, Bowman Advisory supported the development of Wagait Shire Council’s new Strategic Plan 2025 – 2035, including reviewing the Council’s performance under its previous Strategic Plan and enabling resident and community feedback of all stages of development to support Plan buy-in.
The work undertaken delivered a new strategic plan that reflects both Council and community’s vision for the future of Wagait Shire. The Plan identifies clear pathways and priorities to guide Council operations, while retaining flexibility and centring advocacy and accountability for other stakeholders that impact on Council’s work.

Centred Solutions
Centred Solutions is a Mparntwe (Alice Springs) based consulting business focussed on delivering meaningful solutions to their clients across Central Australia and the Northern Territory, informed by best practice.
Centred Solutions engaged Bowman Advisory to support a review of their early years of operation, facilitate discussions about their future goals and opportunities, define what success looks like and provide recommendations on the path forward.
Bowman Advisory approached this project with a flexible and responsive mindset to ensure the recommendations and practical tools delivered were fit-for-purpose and met the requirements of the client and the project.

Green River Aboriginal Corporation
Green River Aboriginal Corporation located in Nauiyu community is working towards creating a community which is connected, inclusive and resilient.
Bowman Advisory is working together with Green River Aboriginal Corporation to ensure the Corporation is well positioned to meet its economic and business development goals and leverage its recently signed Local Decision Making Agreement with the Northern Territory Government.
Leveraging our expertise and networks, Bowman Advisory is assisting the Corporation to take forward strategic opportunities that will mutually benefit Nauiyu community and its people, as well as supporting processes and systems to deliver on these opportunities.

Anindilyakwa Land Council/Anindilyakwa Royalties Aboriginal Corporation
The Anindilyakwa Land Council (ALC) is the representative body for the traditional owners of the Groote Archipelago in the Northern Territory.
Bowman Advisory supported the ALC in negotiating the historic transfer of the Groote Eylandt Township Lease from the Commonwealth Office of Township Leasing to the Anindilyakwa Royalties Aboriginal Corporation (ARAC) in 2022. This transfer reflected an important milestone for the Anindilyakwa traditional owners to support their aspirations for local control and self-determination.
Following the transfer, Jordy continues to provide support for ongoing capability development and implementation of the new arrangements in an interim management role within ARAC.

Bowman Advisory has been partnering with WSP Australia on projects across the Northern Territory, supporting stakeholder engagement, relationship building and providing strategic advice and key local context.

Money Mob Talkabout
MoneyMob Talkabout (MoneyMob) is a not-for-profit organisation providing a range of financial literacy programs and community services in the Aṉangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands in northern South Australia, and in Alice Springs in the Northern Territory.
MoneyMob engaged Bowman Advisory to support the refresh of its Strategic Plan, conduct an organisational structure review and provide implementation recommendations to better reflect current operating environment, and anticipated changes to funding, staffing and service delivery.
MoneyMob and Bowman Advisory worked in partnership to craft solutions to support a refreshed and forward-looking organisation, ready to meet future challenges while continuing to make a positive impact on the communities they service.

Northern Territory Government | Department of Industry, Tourism and Trade
Bowman Advisory was engaged by the Department of Industry, Tourism and Trade to develop a resource for Northern Territory Government staff and the businesses they work with to more easily understand the various programs, funding and other supports available to small and medium size businesses operating in the Northern Territory.
Bowman Advisory undertook a business support mapping exercise that fed into the delivery of a final product that provides a high level overview of the various supports for businesses at different stages of their business journey, with specific resources for Aboriginal businesses, workforce development and businesses operating in priority industries.
